History
Since 1975, Roia Appliance Service has been the go-to company for all appliance troubles. The business was started by Jaime Roia, an emigrant of St. Michael's in the Azores.

Jaime started out in a small shop on Wood Street in Bristol repairing small appliances. After a few years, his business evolved into the traveling repair service it is today. Jaime began making house calls to his clients, expanding his business from small appliances to major ones, eventually servicing all major makes and model appliances.

Though it started out as a local business, only servicing the Bristol area, Roia Appliance has expanded its service area to all of Rhode Island and most of southern Massachusetts.

The business has since been passed down to jaime's son Michael Roia, who fully runs Roia Appliance Service today. Michael has taken his father's company and turned it into a fully contracting business, factory trained for warranty repairs with major appliance companies such as Bosch, Viking, Thermador, and Dacor.

Like his dad, Mike can fix, as well as install, any brand major appliance.
